Upon that cosmic plate of the sky, the sun and the moon are the lamps. The stars and their orbs are the studded pearls. The scent of sandalwood is the incense, the breath is the fan, and the forests are flowers as offering to You, O Divine.

What a beautiful Aarti, lamp-lit worship this is! Dearest Transcender of Fear, this is Your Ceremony of Light//

aarti is an exploration of the belief that we are not separate from the universe but rather we are what make up the universe. We are not detached entities but rather part of a network of energies that make it whole; like one of the many facets of Ek, where it is infinite yet singular. aarti is a celebration of the universe.

The artwork was additionally inspired by trips to Harimander Sahib. Staring into the sarovar (pool) with curious wonderings of what is really going on in there? There could be a whole world and we might never fully know. The sarovar is not meant to reflect the sky, but rather express itself as a different part of the same universe. Looking at the poetics of it, there is a lot of mystery, awe and trust when we cannot fully fathom creation we experience.

We cannot separate the rays from the Sun, the waves from the Ocean. We are the rays and the waves. Ek is the Sun, the Ocean and we belong to the same Infinite Vibration.

We are the Infinite Vibration.

With very special credits, guidance, love, and lights of the universes, to a Warrior of his own Light, my Brother.
